Meet Evan Metzger, Our Founder

Evan Metzger, a proud graduate of Medina High School / Medina County Career Center, has always had a deep-rooted connection to his community. Born and raised in Medina, Ohio, Evan’s heart has always been tied to this charming town. His dedication to his hometown and love for giving back were the driving forces behind creating Medina Stump Doctor.

On April 20th, 2023, Evan founded Medina Stump Doctor. While he has a strong background in cybersecurity, his passion for helping others and lifelong experience operating equipment led him to choose a different path — one that benefits both the environment and his community.

In 2026 Medina Stump Doctor was voted the Medina Best of the Best for stump grinding, an honor that reflects the trust local families have placed in Evan’s work.

A Helping Hand in the Community

Evan’s commitment extends beyond the business. He actively supports local charities, including the Medina Meow Fix initiative, because he believes giving back is both a responsibility and a privilege.

From Cyber Security to Stump Removal

Evan’s true passion lies in preserving and beautifying Medina’s natural landscapes. He specializes in thorough stump grinding and, when clearance allows, selective tree removal by dropping. He also offers root grinding, natural deer repellent, and fall cleanup
